V24.01 Enh - New HTTPS Cloud Connection — No More FTPThe most significant change in Version 24 is one you will feel immediately: the FTP connection
system has been replaced with a secure HTTPS connection. If you have ever had planEASe refuse
to connect at a hotel, a coffee shop, or inside a corporate network, that was the FTP system
running into a firewall. Port 21, which FTP uses, is routinely blocked by IT departments and
public networks. The new HTTPS connection uses Port 443 — the same port your web browser uses
— which is never blocked. It works everywhere: corporate networks, hotels, client offices, and
public Wi-Fi, with no IT calls, no port forwarding, and no firewall configuration required.
To install Version 24, it is best to uninstall your previous planEASe Cloud installation
first, then install the new version. Your existing Serial Number and Password continue to work
without change. When first opening the setup file, Windows may display a security prompt —
click More info and then Run anyway to proceed. This is normal for a newly
released installer.
V24.01 Enh - Analysis Files Now Stored LocallyWith Version 24, your analysis files live on your own computer or network rather than on
the planEASe server. This means faster file access, no server dependency for day-to-day work,
and full control over your own data. We recommend keeping a backup of your planEASe files
folder in case of computer changes or hardware failure.
For users of the Portfolio Extension, this change is particularly noticeable. Portfolio
analysis requires reading multiple files in rapid succession, and the previous FTP connection
was a bottleneck that slowed this down considerably. With files stored locally, that bottleneck
is gone entirely.
If you have analysis files stored on the planEASe server from a previous version, they
remain available on your home page the moment you log in, ready to download to your computer
in one click.

planease.com/SupportCenter.aspx
with over 300 indexed training videos, making it easy to find answers quickly without
waiting for a callback.
V24.01 Enh - Installation and AccessThe updated software may be installed on as many Windows computers as needed, with one
session open at a time. planEASe also runs on Mac and other platforms using Windows
simulation software such as VMware Fusion, Parallels, or similar environments. To download
